Nyssa sylvatica – tupelo
The tupelo tree is native to the Eastern United States. It’s a great medium size tree without many insect or disease problems in Vancouver.
Dense lateral branches are perpendicular to the trunk.

- Gravely Street on the east side of Nanaimo St.
In Burnaby:
- the parking lot of Costco on Still Creek Road,
- near Gilmore Skytrain Stn. on Dawson St. East of Gilmore
